The District is working in conjunction with the City of Mesquite to replace a main waterline from the Bunkerville Bridge to Mesquite Blvd. on Riverside Road. The District has been moving dirt by the Bank of Nevada. This is in preparation for drilling of our new well. A well drilling rig should be on site in October to begin drilling a 1,000’ deep hole. This well will replace a failed well.
Ben Davis is the District’s newest Board Director. Ben’s first meeting was August 16. He has an excellent business background and brings excellent leadership to the board.

The Virgin Valley Water District Board President, Ted Miller, is pleased to announce that Mr. Kevin Brown, P.E. has accepted the position offered as General Manager of the District. With all pre-employment requirements met, Mr. Brown will begin employment as the General Manager for the Virgin Valley Water District on July 22, 2013.
