Getting Started
The Virgin Valley Water District sees a Developer of Residential Properties as someone who develops a parcel(s) to accommodate multiple single family residences and has assumed responsibility for all water related billing and charges prior to their resale. The following will help you assemble the required document packet that may be mailed or presented to a VVWD representative in person.
STEP 1: SERVICE APPLICATION
The completion of a Developers Service Application is required for all new account applicants.
This application requires that the developer has read and agrees with the current Operating Rules, Regulations and Policies document, which contains other information and agreements for different parts of the construction process.
- Operating Rules, Regulations and Rates (.pdf 238K)
- STEP 2: PROOF OF IDENTITY
Proof of identity must be submitted at time of application and would include, but not be limited to, a copy of applicant's (tenant) valid picture ID. Examples include, a valid State driver's license, valid U.S. Military identification card, or Nevada Identification (ID) card.
STEP 3: APPLICATION FEE
There is a $25.00 service charge to process the application.
Once the application is processed, you can file the other forms necessary to obtain a "will serve" or "water availability" letter, have existing water lines extended and meters installed.
