About Us
The Virgin Valley Water District serves the water needs of the Mesquite and Bunkerville communities. We have developed this website as one of our many efforts to ensure that we keep you up-to-date on water issues.
The Virgin Valley Water District was formed by the Nevada Senate and Assembly on May 10, 1993 (Chapter 100, Statutes of Nevada 1993). The District was enacted to:
- Provide adequate and efficient water service, which is vital to the economy and well-being of the residents of the Virgin Valley area
- Create a governmental entity to administer water services for the residents of the Virgin Valley
- Create a single governmental entity, succeeding the Bunkerville Water User's Association and the Mesquite Farmstead Water Association.
